Happy Hour: Garnet and Black Attack Cocktail
Here's a fun way to do a vodka cranberry cocktail with a cool garnet and black effect for your next tailgate...
Ingredients:
2 oz. Blavod black vodka, very cold
3 oz. Chilled cranberry juice
Directions: Fill a small cocktail glass with ice. Pour cranberry juice over the ice. Gently layer black vodka over juice. Serve.
NOTE: This recipe calls for a lot of vodka and can be very strong... For less of a 'kick', pour less vodka on the top (1 oz. or less) - you'll just have less of the 'black' layer effect on the top. Also, since the ingredients are separated for effect, be sure to serve this cocktail with a swizzle stick so the ingredients can be stirred together before drinking. Please drink responsibly!

How to follow South Carolina Baseball on the web
Carolina Baseball is an exciting and fun sport to take us into Spring. Since games are typically played in series, it's not always easy to make it to every game like the football games. However, with today's social media, it's easy to stay on top of Gamecocks Baseball and feel like you're in on the action of the games without being there in person.
Here are a few of our favorite resources to stay in the know on all things Carolina Baseball:
University of South Carolina's official Baseball website - definitely an obvious choice; this site has the schedule, ticket info, videos, and the latest news and stats. You can also watch the games online or tune in to the game audio via the web.

South Carolina Baseball Facebook Page - Updated events for games you can add to your Facebook events to remind you of the next game; gorgeous photos from each home game, live updates during games, and interactions with other fans.
Gamecock Daily - this website updates every hour, compiling information on Gamecocks sports from around the Web into one location!

Happy Hour - Blood Orange Mojito Cocktail
In honor of this weekend's baseball game vs. Clemson, we thought this 'bloody orange' cocktail was very appropriate. :) Enjoy!
San Pellegrino Blood Orange Mojitos
Ingredients:
2 1/2 ounces light rum
4 ounces San Pellegrino Limonata
1 1/2 ounces simple syrup
2 blood oranges, cut in wedges
A handful of mint leaves
Sugar
Directions: In a large bowl, combine blood orange wedges, mint leaves and a light sprinkle of sugar. Muddle all the ingredients together until most of the juice is extracted and the mint leaves are bruised. Distribute muddled oranges and mint leaves between two glasses. Fill with ice. Add rum, simple syrup and San Pellegrino Limonata. Stir and serve immediately. **Drink responsibly...
TIP: For fancier ice cubes, freeze 1 part San Pellegrino Limonata and 1 part orange juice. Drop one segmented wedge of blood orange in each mold. Allow freezing time before serving your cocktails.
