This is the week for all of those sweet "awww" love stories...and we recently stumbled across this sweet proposal story from My Carolina Alumni Association. USC student Garrett proposed to his girlfriend Emmy with a personalized Horseshoe brick -- such a neat idea and something they can show their kids one day.
Did you attend a Super Bowl party last night? One of my favorite tailgate or game party pastimes - besides eating - is playing cornhole. Cornhole is a game with two boards with one hole in it, on an incline, about 10 ft apart from each other. Opposing teams throw beanbags at the boards and try to land the bags on the board or in the hole.
It looks and sounds so simple, right? But for some reason my bean bags always end up so far away from the boards. I need more practice.
One of the things to put on your Valentine's Day gift wish-list is a South Carolina Gamecocks-themed cornhole set.
There are many pre-made Gamecock options you can buy (they can get pricey!), and there are also several companies who make custom boards with Gamecock themes and your family monogram or last name. Others either make their own boards and custom design them on their own.
Here are a few we found from across the web... Source links are below each photo.
